I’m Rachel and I’m a 3rd year BMSc student. I am the current VP Administration and the previous Finance Director. I oversee the Volunteer and Peer programs to foster a supportive community for students to learn from their peers and access opportunities. I’ve implemented a volunteer week, weekly volunteering at BGCL and RMHC and run skill building workshops. As VP Finance of Music Box Charity I have experience creating budgets, annual reports, reimbursements and securing sponsorships.

Why choose me? Pre-Med runs over 60 annual events, and Finance is a huge part. I’d like to redirect funding to our bigger events like Schulich Social and physician shadowing so students gain the most from their memberships. VP Finance also oversees the Outreach and Year Coordinators. I’d like for our year reps to have regular office hours for Pre-Meds to drop-in to ask questions, and for our outreach department to secure recurring sponsorships.
